Stauffer's Drug Store

I just moved into the area and needed to pick up an over-the-counter aspirin. The moment I entered Stauffer's Drug Store, a female employee rushed at me, got in my face and immediately asked me what I was doing there and that I had to leave. I explained to her that I just came to pick up some aspirin and she said that this is not the right place for that. I was truly taken by surprise at the aggressive stance that this individual was taking towards me. It was intimidating to say the least. I asked why I couldn't pick up some aspirin at this drugstore and she said that this was a care facility and no longer a drugstore. I'm new to town and if this is the position of this business, then the name should clearly be changed. Anyone not familiar with this business would, of course, assume that i

This is a great drug store. Independently owned and operated. The folks working here care for their customers and know everyone in town. They are an excellent place to schedule vaccinations if/when you need them. I would recommend them to anyone.

The way it used to be! Back when the pharmacist knew your name and was familiar with your medications, prescriptions were filled shortly after sent from a doctor, and staff members called you if there was an issue processing your transactions. There's never a line, no surprises when you drive all the way there thinking you're picking up meds, and they call your doctor for you when you run out of refills. The hours aren't the best, but the benefits far outweigh that. In fact, a pharmacist once popped in after hours to make sure my child didn't miss a dose of her medication over a holiday. It meant so much to me!

The ONLY pharmacy around that has my prescriptions! Plus I have never had to wait longer than 1 minute to be seen, which is great compared to other pharmacies. The staff are all professional and down to earth

VERY SAD! I take a ton of medications I have a heart condition and degenerative disc disease among some other ailments. One of the many meds I take is an opiate, I used to use this pharmacy regularly as they are right across the street from where I work it was very convenient. I stopped using them for a number of reasons one was that I moved (where I lived) and wanted to use the pharmacy closer to my home and they had longer hours, the other reason was they have an older woman there that is extremely RUDE and quite unfriendly. With all the attention put upon opiate abuse I understand why pharmacies are more careful with how they handle them HOWEVER as I have been on the same dose for 10 years and have NEVER abused them and had a good relationship with Stauffer's at one time I decided that
