St. Peter's Laboratory

Went to St. Peters for bloodwork because they didn't send it to LabCorp. Went to this location. The woman who drew my blood didn't seem to be able to understand what tests were required. Instead of following what my doctor ordered, she asked me to confirm what needed to get done. I get bloodwork frequently, I have no idea what tests need to be done. She ended up ignoring 2 of the 3 tests that were listed. She then shoved the needle so far into my arm I could tell she blew past my vein. I walked out of the office holding my arm it was in so much pain. I've never had that reaction to a blood draw. It's been 5 days and I can't use my right arm to lift weights without a tearing pain occurring at the muscle below the blood draw site. Just got a call from the hematologist that they only did 1 o

Blood lab with bankers hrs, no wonder they have so many people waiting when you go in there less overall time to do anything, plus last time I went in tech was very slow. Would draw from one person then take at least 10 mins before seeing next one. Between this and 6 hr wait in Albany Emergency Room don't know why keep going back St Peters anything !!

Unprofessional and rude. My boyfriend was sent up for urgent bloodwork. We were there with 10 minutes before they closed and explained we came directly from Dr office to get urgent blood work. They said they were closed. When we pointed out it was not 3:00 they just shrugged and announced they were closed.

Definitely need additional staffing. 15 people waiting . Need additional lab technicians.
