My nurse Amber was amazing! We both had to exhibit great patience waiting for a room. But it all worked out ok…..I felt good enough to go home. She had to have a lot of contact with my inpatient husband but she handled him extremely well. And above all of that, she got a second patient giving me the opportunity to most hear but see some too, her efficiency in preparing her bay to receive her next client but she stayed in touch with me as needed.

This review is for Tasha in the Cafeteria. My mom stayed in the hospital for 8 days. I would call to order my mother's meals and Tasha always was friendly, respectful and asked how she was doing. I always hoped she would get my call since I would call 3 times a day. She made the ordering easy and she would help me with information about the food if I seemed confused. She made the process so easy that I was able to truly focus on other things my mother needed. Thank you Tasha, you were truly a part of my mother's recovery and essential to my peace of mind!!.

I was admitted to St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens, GA through the Emergency Room for a small bowel obstruction. The ER did their job well — I was triaged quickly, evaluated appropriately, and admitted without unnecessary delay. Unfortunately, that was where the smooth experience ended. Once on the med-surg floor, I experienced a level of communication failure that was both frustrating and, at times, unsafe. Although my bedside nurses were competent and kind when present, they often had no idea I needed help because the call-light system between the ward secretaries and nurses appears to be broken. I would like to thank Chad, Brad, Erik, and Tonia for the care I received at the Cardiac Cath Lab, St Mary's Athens, GA, on 11/19/2025. A special thanks to Tonia, who was with me every step of the way. She kept me comfortable in preparation for my procedure, and post procedure when I was to remain on my back in the bed for at least four hours. I was in the hospital under her care for around 8 hours. To know that these nurses tend to patients day after day, hours at a time, makes you realize why these nurses are special people. In turn, Tonia made me feel special by giving me her full attention any time I needed help. I went here to get taken care of cuz my body rejected a medicinal. Like 1 out of 4 nurses were nice. Actually, it was the guys nurses were nice but the girls nurses were horrible. They treated me like i was a drug addict. I told them if u see my medical records, i am not and U can do blood testing. They did and i am clean. When i went again, the girls nurse were soo mean and they act like they did not want to help me. Other ppl told me horrible stories of this place and i should have listen to them. Plus, they clam they were busy and cant help me but there were no body in the cots that they have outside. Also, I ask the direction the exit since I was confused, the female nurses did not want to help me. The male nurse did. I will not set foot here again. The male nurses were nice. The male
