I liked everything about the experience. I should put primary weight on my results, and I can, since in the first visit Dr. Maria clearly understood my complaint and correctly identified the source (that cannot be taken for granted). She gave me a combination of PT homework and two follow-up visits that reduced my complaint more than 75% (perceptually). I expect full relief with continued application of my home treatments. Let me also say that Dr. Maria is completely professional without being ingratiating, and she gives full attention to the problem/patient. Typical PT visits with AOC begin with riding a stationary bike alone for 10 minutes while the therapist wanders off to talk sports with colleagues. None of that here. I also like the informal setting, which puts me at my ease.

I sought Maria’s help with a shoulder pain that was becoming more than a nuisance, really making exercise and everyday things difficult. She patiently and methodically diagnosed the source of the pain, then developed a clear and manageable set of exercises. She is smart and intuitive about what makes a body hurt and what makes it better. Thankfully this shoulder issue is resolved but I’ll be going back to her the next time something gives me trouble.

Working with Maria has been a game changer for my injury recovery. I’ve gone through many rounds of PT over the years with different therapists but this is the first time I’ve found a long term solution I can consistently build on. Her expertise has helped me go from being afraid to stand up the wrong way to progressing in my strength training and riding in ways I never thought possible. I strongly encourage anyone looking for a high caliber PT to work with Maria.

Maria is one of the most passionate and attentive physical therapists I have ever encountered. As someone that has experienced recurring and periodic back pain for over 20 years and has dealt with numerous PTs, doctors, chiropractors, etc. during that time, I was definitely skeptical when beginning my treatment with Maria. However, it didn't take long to begin to build trust and have the willingness to follow her guidance. I think Maria would agree that I was a challenging case for her, but she even spent the time to inquire and brainstorm with her mentor to make sure that she was giving me the best treatment possible. She really cares for her patients and is always checking in and monitoring progress. Not that I want to have a reason to be Maria's patient again, but if I had to return to

Maria is amazing. She listened to what was going on with my knee, assessed me thoroughly, and gave me a plan that alleviated my knee pain super quickly. She is the most thoughtful and thorough physical therapist I have ever worked with. Highly recommend!
