we had waited over an hour to be seen and was told that “every room is full” but staff is sitting around on their phones not doing anything and laughing about funny videos on their phones (this includes all staff in the waiting room not just the security guard pictured). the security guard that sits around at his desk is also EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful. my fiancé and i had came in because his nose has been bleeding for over 3 hours and he’s continuously swallowing blood, we souly came so he could get his nose cauterized so his nose could stop bleeding and were even recommended by immediate care to come here. overall AWFUL service in all aspects and i personally think new employees is needed, or management needs to step up a little more.

I had to come to the ER here recently while I was on a business trip and staying at a nearby hotel. I had been vomiting all day and arrived very dehydrated and in need of meds and fluids. I was seen quickly and the staff was really supportive and nice to me even though I had medical anxiety about getting IV medication and was really out of it from being ill the entire day. I had to delay returning home to recover for a few days but I know going to the ER here ended up saving me that trip.

Have only received treatment here twice, but I can attest both times that I received prompt, attentive services from kind medical staff. One was an ER visit where check-in, bloodwork, CAT scan, ultrasound, and discharge was all done in less than 3 hours.

This used to be the fastest and friendliest ER around. Now even if there is only 5 ppl in the ER you will still wait at least 3 hrs to be seen. On top of that they keep the waiting room temp at a nice "warm" 34°. Not great for people with medical conditions which cause physical pain thru the body when in cold temperatures. There is nowhere to charge your phone either until you get into a bed so bring a fully charged device and a blanket because I promise you will need it. And friendly is dead and gone. The reception nurse was rude because my nephew didn't have any ID or insurance card on him, he had to be picked up from work and didn't have his stuff, kept saying over and over " well I don't know what you expect me to do if you don't have any identification." Sat in the waiting room with my 10 year old daughter for over an hour just for a nurse named Marcie to come out & say rudely that they are short staff & she don’t know how long it’s going to be. From registration to triage it was a terrible experience. Even the security guard asked me if I was discharged or why wasn’t I seen yet? I felt like they didn’t care anything about my child and as a pediatric nurse I finally understand what they mean about these adult hospitals… they don’t care about you, nothing is emergent and i’m so happy all they are only a emergency department I could not imagine the terrible care patients would receive inpatient at that facility.
