Big thanks to the kind and caring professionals at First Step. I have been a patient for several months now - working through different ailments. My primary PT is Dr Lisa. I have been impressed with how carefully she listens to my symptoms and how thoroughly she works through a process to uncover the root cause of my problem. She then works up a plan to help me recover my mobility. The exercises have all been thoroughly explained with written instructions so I don’t forget when I get home. The final thing that I will say is that there is a lot of joy in this place. I see how all of the PTs interact with other patients and there is laughter, encouragement and genuine care shown. Highly recommend.

We are so impressed with the team at First Step PT! Our daughter’s recent fracture was a huge set back for her. Because of her developmental delays, mobility has always been a challenge. Dr. Liz, Dr. Jordan, Dr. Morgan & Dr. Jake are 100% the reason she is able to walk again! Their patience, individualized support (often with 2 PTs) and creative approach kept her motivated & engaged. Rachel made sure that she was scheduled well in advance & had a therapy time that worked for her. The entire team at First Step work collaboratively to meet their patients where they are & encourage success. It’s no surprise that they host PT college students. They are the perfect group to help teach future PTs. We are grateful to have found these amazing professionals.

I could barely walk and had to be helped into the building my 1st visit. Leaving that same day I could limp out on my own. The healing process already started. Lisa, my PT doctor listened to my symptoms and moved my leg around just like my doctor did, but she seemed to understand it better and had a solution to what was causing me so much pain. Every visit was a positive in my healing process and I walked easier after each session. I am almost 100% better now. I highly recommend First Step PT to everyone I know who needs help. I highly recommend them to whoever is reading this post. They are the best!

It’s interesting that First Step has only 5 star reviews up to this point… Unfortunately while it seems they’re good at certain parts of their job they seem to lack the sensitivity and training needed in cases with severely disabled folks. They seem to not understand day to day needs of disabled individuals and have immediately levied accusations and started investigations against caretakers of new patients without even bothering to take a moment to consider history of care. If you’re someone with simple medical needs it might be ok to choose them as a provider but I certainly wouldn’t bring my own disabled family members or recommend that individuals with more complex needs visit this business. Someone here is either really poorly trained in client management and ongoing relationships or

These folks are judgemental and unprofessional, when it comes to non-verbal cerebral palsy patients. Many times, severely handicapped people are incontinent and require 24 hour care. a patient I was transporting had a bowel movement in the car on the way to his appointment. He was cleaned and changed prior to his PT appointment. It is very difficult to manage a 130# man in a confined space (with no running water in winter) using wipes. I did my best, but missed a spot. This arrogant judgemental facility sneakily called the police for a welfare check rather than attend to his needs. His desperately needed PT was not performed because of the lack of compassion by the staff. They also noted he oftentimes had on the same clothes. They have NO IDEA what it takes to dress a handicapped
