Heather, NP is the best! She is kind, professional, and very knowledgeable. Her staff are also very friendly. I’ve had nothing but great care here!

The staff at the front desk at the Brandon location is needs a lot of training. They were incredibly rude as a new patient when I first arrived. I had ask for a new patient form and the lady at the front desk kept saying "everything is done electronically". She was asking for my personal info in an open waiting room. I asked her for the new patient information she. She lied, or didn't know, through lack of training, that they even had one. She was wanting me to answer HIPAA related questions with other patients in the front lobby. I asked her several times for the new patient form so as to write my information down. She continued to just say its all electronic and I would have to tell her in the open lobby. Eventually I got a manager involved and was given a new patient form, so my HIPA

I’ll be honest, I love Dr. Hellrung, he’s really great. Takes the time to listen and understand what’s going on with you. However, the staff upfront seems to be incompetent. I have waited over an hour in the waiting room just to be called back. Today, I waited for an hour, and my name was never called. I go up to the front desk, and somehow, they lost track of me. Despite signing in, and despite confirming my appointment the day before. Doctors appointment take a long time as it is. It just makes it a waste of a trip. People have lives and hectic schedules, and a job, and kids, and other responsibilities.

So visit was alright, Dr. Emily told me everything she did or sent me to should be covered under insurance for my wellness exam. Little did I know and wasn’t told that they send lab work to another facility for testing. They do not do in house so insurance will not fully cover and you will get a bill for lab work. I am infuriated because being a single mother of three I DO NOT go to the doctors because they will milk you of money. Emily recommended an X-ray and physical therapy over something so minor as well it blew my mind and proved why going to the doctor now a days is a scheme. I was not impressed.

My providers at this clinic are awesome. Like most clinics, the wait can be long at times. But the level of care I have gotten here more than offsets the inconveniences I OCCASIONALLY encounter.
