SSM Health Monroe Urgent Care

WHAT A JOKE THIS PLACE IS! If I could leave no stars Arrived at 6;,36 and was told they weren't seeing anymore patients, they should have posted a sign. This place is a joke, a year ago the receptionist at the desk said they wouldn't see me because I had pain in my arm and I was having a heart attack go somewhere else. I went to FHN, I sprained my wrist and elbow DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE, GO TO FHN!!!!

I was referred here from the Monroe, WI branch (my local urgent care), since ours doesn't have x-ray technology; I had a suspected arm fracture after a nasty fall. I called first to check their hours, and talked to Amanda. She was extremely kind and asked if I would be coming immediately; I said that I couldn't leave until 6:30pm when my son's respite care provider was due to leave, as I couldn't risk not being able to get back in time. She said that they would plan for our arrival at 7pm, and I showed up, all 3 kids in tow, we were checked in right away. Amanda herself was our nurse, and was so wonderful! Terrible. Don't bother wasting your time here. Got checked in to have an appointment in an hour within 20 minutes they called to ask me to diagnose myself and said they couldn't treat me without labs. What labs for a swollen foot. I just wanted to see a doctor and have my foot x-rayed. They are lazy and incompetent. They suggested I go sit in FHN emergency room. You should be able to be seen at an any urgent care whether they have labs or not. You certainly shouldn't be asked on the phone without being seen do you have an infection, a blood clot? If I knew I wouldnt need to go there.

Such an amazing experience! I went in for mastitis and my nurse was so informative as I am a FTM breastfeeding she shared all the tips and tricks. Dr. Chris was excellent and really knows what hat he’s talking about. All around outstanding.

Monroe Clinic (SSM Freeport) definitely would give them 5 stars, they've been nothing but great. Urgent Care.. absolutely horrible experience. Not once or twice, everytime we've tried going there..it's NEVER easy or quick. I completely understand that they get busy.. but be COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL.. Sunday 4/10/2022, we went in to SSM Monroe Urgent, Freeport. We weren't even acknowledged, a person came in after us with a twisted knee. They took him in, still not saying anything to us. Just because my husband didn't have a visible injury didn't mean he wasn't seriously sick. Maybe try asking. My husband actually has leukemia, ended up going to the Monroe Urgent care in Monroe.
