Spira Care West (Wyandotte)

I got Archered, just like the other reviews. The flu hit me Saturday, so I called on Sunday to get a prescription for Tamiflu. I was told, Sorry, no one is available to help on a Sunday. The problem is, Tamiflu only works if it’s taken within 48 hours of symptom onset. When I pointed that out, the response was simply, Sorry, there’s nothing we can do. Apparently, people only get sick Monday through Saturday. On top of that, I’ve been trying to get a prescription refilled for five days now. I’m completely out of the medication and will soon start experiencing withdrawal. Noone is communicating with me, but through my mind reading abilities I finally figured out I need an appointment first. They want me to come in for blood work to check my levels, but the earliest appointment they offere

Wow, I'm surprised reading some of the 1 star reviews, and ones mentioning Dr Archer. My personal experience with her has been great. She's talked to me and answered more of my questions than my last doctor. My last doctor was from a clinic or whatever that the head of it was from Providence, they never really talked or addressed any issues I had. 5 mins with Dr Archer, and I felt I was getting better treatment ( and still am) that my old doctor. I've even recommended her and Spira Care to members of my household. I've even found out a few of my friends and coworkers go there, and have been going long before I have.

Would highly recommend! I saw Melissa Stein who is a nurse practitioner here. She was amazing along with the nurses and front desk. I’ve never felt so cared for by a doctor. She listened and made a plan of action to help me recover. I messaged her with questions and she returned my phone call herself within an hour of my message being sent. I plan to use her as my primary care doctor from now on. So lucky to have found her!

I have had nothing but good experiences here. Christina Mastio was exactly who I needed to see at exactly the right time. I am so sad to see her go but so thankful to have had her guidance and support on my journey to a healthier me!

The staff at this location were really great. I highly recommend Katherine McElderry, Nurse Practitioner, who really listens and cares about your well-being. Unlike a traditional physician's office, Spira Care visits are more in depth where you have more time with your doctor to address any and all concerns. They offer many unique services for no additional charge like Care Guides and Health Coaching. Thank you for the great service!
