Specs is the best. All the ladies are always so nice and beyond helpful. All the doctors are so laid back and extremely knowledgeable.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Dr. Kathy and her husband are amazing in every way. We live in Newport during the summer and didn't have an eye doctor on the island. My 17-year old son had sudden blurry vision and on a whim I called Specs Eyecare. Despite being booked through September, when I shared my son's situation with the receptionist, the team found a way to fit us in that day. As a result of their expertise and outstanding equipment they found an issue in my son's eye (that was likely missed by our doctor at home) and referred us to a specialist in Providence. Despite being new clients and there being no previous symptoms, Dr. Kathy gave me her cell phone number in case there was an issue. Optometrists are very knowledgeable and personable! They focus on my family history of eye disease and have early testing to ensure I can pivot any treatment as necessary. Service is fantastic and I never wait long to get needed contact prescription refills. Office is clean and bright with helpful staff.

As much as it pains me to do this, I feel as though I have to. I’ve been going to specs eye care for 10 years now. Dr.Rispoli is amazing, as is the majority of the staff. But the new staff member that works in the glasses department is very unfriendly; and just flat out rude. I waited in the waiting area for over 30 minutes to pick up my new glasses and they just blatantly ignored me, they were very standoffish and disregarded my concerns, it was very evident they did not want to work with me. When I had called expressing my concerns with the glasses they again disregarded my concern and had a lot of attitude. The stellar staff outside of this individual is what saved this review from a one star. If I return in the future I will not be purchasing my glasses from here anymore. These two exa

My daughter has been a patient at this practice since August 2022 with Dr. Bhagat. If I could rate Dr. Bhagat and Beth 100 stars, I would. They are very kind, professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer the questions I had. I have never see such great care and compassion in a provider in my entire life, I wish there were more providers who had similar care as Dr. Bhagat and Beth. I don’t leave reviews but Dr. Bhagat and Beth needed one. My son is also now a patient and under the care of Dr. Bhagat, and I will be the next. I know my family’s eye care is in good hands with Dr. Bhagat and Beth. Thank you both. The front desk staff are also friendly.
