Spear Physical Therapy

I had a really wonderful experience with Spear! Yogesh was terrific - he constantly sought to understood where I was in my recovery journey and adapted our sessions accordingly while pushing me just the right amount. He truly is a healer. The entire team at the East 56th street location is wonderful. They really worked together to ensure I was consistent and on track while maintaining an upbeat and positive tone. No one wants an injury, but in case I do have one again, I know right where I am going. Thank you Yogesh and the Spear Team!

My experience with Alisha Bhandari at Spear has been wonderful. Alisha is so talented at what she does and is also so kind & takes a vested interest in her patients. I worked with Alisha on a specific type of massage therapy but she also helped me through insurance requirements in addition to assessing my need for specific strengthening physical therapy. From the moment I walked in, everyone from the front desk to every one of the PT’s and PT assistants were warming, knowledgeable, caring and helpful. I never believed in PT before this experience for I had been to other PT’s in the past; however, Spear midtown East has changed my thinking. I first encountered the PT, Niel. I was at such a low point with my injury and he truly instilled hope in me when I didn’t have any at that time. He took the time to listen and understand me and my concerns. From my first session with Alicia, I knew she was going to be the perfect match for me as a therapist. She showed complete investment in my shoulder injury, and set up a PT plan that worked on strengthening the ancillary muscles around the main injury until I could work through the main issue without any pain. I really appreciate how we started every session discussing what I was feeling in my shoulder. She would then tailored each session based on those discussions. I also appreciate how, even if she was working with another patient, she'd always have an eye watching me to make sure I was doing the exercise correctly. I felt immediate progress. A month into my shoulder treatment, I also ended up spraining my ACL. Again, Alicia showed complete investment in my injury and set up a PT plan
