I had a liver biopsy done and I am as scared to death. The doctor and nurses were extremely supportive about what I was going through and put me completely at ease. The procedure was fast and once I was in recovery I was given plenty of warmed blankets,coffee and snacks. I appreciate everyone so much. They turned a scary procedure into a smooth process. Thank you all so much for your kindness.

The nurses and doctors at Spartanburg Medical Center were absolutely amazing. From the moment my father was admitted to the ICU, they treated him — and our entire family — with compassion, professionalism, and genuine care. They took the time to answer every single question we had, no matter how small. They never made us feel rushed, and they explained everything clearly so we understood exactly what was happening and what the next steps would be. During such a stressful and emotional time, that level of communication meant more than I can put into words. The ICU staff were attentive, patient, and incredibly kind. Great experiences overall! I've had multiple appointments at this facility. The breast center people are very calm and supportive. However, they NEED to focus on customized patient experience and pain PREVENTION for patients in the interventional radiology department. My experience was BRUTAL!

I've been hospitalized here nine times in eight years, and somehow seven of those times I have spoken to the same evil liaison. Regretfully I can't remember her name so I haven't said anything, but I know she has other victims because I've witnessed other patients in the pods come out of the room with her crying. The first time I saw her when I was twelve, I was in for my self harm. She told me I should have cut deeper. Every time since then, she goes "You again?" And somehow finds new ways to be horrible. She ridiculed me for my SH, which obviously got worse over the years, and she kept telling me to try harder next time. It took me so long to build up the courage to post this. Spartanburg regional is where I lost both of my parents, my Mom was severely neglected after receiving the wrong treatment and was sent home with an infection. She died July 4th, 2019. I was freshly 18 when she passed. She was in so much pain and agony towards the end of her life and I feel as though she was mistreated during her time at Spartanburg Regional. She was not taken seriously when she had several heart attacks, was sent home with infections and died a painful medical death. My dad also died in the care of the hospital.
