Because our car broke the day before, I was taken to SVMC Bennington ER, in an ambulance, with, what turned out to be a mini stroke. ALL the nurses were very kind, and supportive, even Adam, who was growing weary toward the end of his long shift; he never broke! All the doctors, patient advocates, PT staff etc. were great. All the Lab people, and the MRI staff were great. The woman who did my bubble test also! Basically everyone was wonderful , very much including the 2 women who helped me get a ride home! God Bless you both! My only issue with the hospital is that they won't let you peacefully sleep. I was completely exhausted from several stressful days before my episode and I was mentally falling apart. I told them I had not slept more than 7 hours in 3 stressful days, and if I didn't g
About 20 years back I lived in Bennington, VT during this time I worked for a painter, whom I do not remember the name of to this day. Upon working for this painter, I had a pretty severe head concussion, which the painter knew something was up and returned me home, and never came back to check on me. After a few hours of my head throbbing in pain, I called 911 Upon arriving to this hospital, I sat in the ER waiting room with my hands wrapped around my head in severe pain and anguish for 45 minutes! 45 minutes! Once I am seen, they put me in a very bright room, checked my vitals and did not return for another 20 minutes! When the doctor finally entered the room, he informed me that I am more than likely feeling the effects of a really bad headache and during the next several hours they kep
Hospital states quite plainly I'm to be here for 2 weeks until the antibiotic course is finished. A different doctor than the one who stated that comes out and states were going to put you on an oral antibiotic regardless of what the other physician has stated. I'm paying the price for 0 agreement between the doctor's. I've yet to see the physician who's actually caring for me. WELL THEY DO PAY THE HOSPITAL, BUT ALSO ASK WHY IN THE WORLD WERE THEY TRYING TO RELASE YOU, REGARDLESS OF WHAT THE DOCTORS SAID.
Today 2/15/26 my mom, Cynthia Cindy Chinnici would’ve been 65 years old had it not been for Southwest Vermont Medical Center’s NEGLECT which I can CONFIDENTLY say I KNOW my mother would be here today had that hospital not started her on a new medication the second day of her being admitted in the hospital under their care! The worst part about it is, they started her on a new medication The second day she was there, stopped her on it two days later, but yet neglected to care for her, which caused a hole in her stomach, and my mom died of septic! The worst part is it happened early in the morning and the doctor that was on call notified her doctor that she was under care for with that she had passed away from septic shock and he wanted that doctor to fabricate her death certificate and say
The imaging experience was excellent. But the reading was sent to radiology associates of Bennington. There is no choice, you sign a consent form and if course you want your mammogram to be read. My insurance info was sent to Radiology Associates but they billed me anyhow. I have 100% coverage. I called them, contacted my insurance and had the authorization number sent. They received it but billed me again. I called them. They said it wouldn't go to debt collection but it did. My insurance company called them with me on the line, gave them the info again. I think it's finally resolved after 5 weeks of daily or more harassing texts and calls from debt collection. How can you send a debt to collection when it's not a debt. The release form and the form that says you're obligated to pay if i
