My father was rushed there 2 different times and always have a bad experience, this time around for a burn and they transferred him all the way to Staten Island hospital for the burn, stating that's the only burn unit that would accept him, then I found out he could have went to Stony Brook and NUMC, not sure what kind politics going on with the. But that was messed up.

The aforementioned reviews can tell it all. I'm not a lawyer but alot of their established norms feel rather malpractice-ish. Fortunately it is a one party state- so prehaps one would be able to get some answers, when the folks at Southside get to sit down at a deposition and explain contents of every recorded conversation their employees had with a patient and their family- from the time they entered to the moment they left. I'm not a lawyer but I'm pretty sure things like: not uploading a patients test results to a portal or lying about the results of said test or pursuing a course treatment without a the written, or verbal consent of the patient or lying about the course of treatment taken, to the patient and their next of kin...Again not a lawyer, but I'm pretty sure they would have t

DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE, they will lie to your face then send you huge bills after. Ann Liu recommended testing that I did not need at all then sent me $1259 bill after. They will rob you do not go here. I wish I read the reviews before.

This is a clean, Friendly and efficient hospital. The staff is courteous and humble. As with every medical institutions we follow their procedures but this is an institution that's worth the time.
