Southport Center For Nursing & Rehabilitation

Parts were worse experience of my life but some parts made it acceptable Food is horrible. Medical care is wanting but thy are always understaffed. *****Most staff are exceptional but their hands are tied. PT and OT are magical!!!

My sister is in that place for more the 6 months and the is more bad and before. I want to move her from that place because I have not seen any progress from my sister and what I see is the faster deterioration of my sister. My sister's personal care is not adequate. The place does not provide me with a safe place for my sister.

My fiance was there for 4 days!. He sustained multiple broken ribs and a broken heel. Had to go to Yale New Haven hospital for trauma treatment. They were more concerned about me wanting to put a camera in his room than anything else. Don't go here!!

Worse place ever! They tried to kill my mother and left her there after a fall to die. Nobody was informed of the fall until i got up there and demanded they call 911 cause mom wasn't conscious. She was then diagnosed with covid and pneumonia and i asked when they last checked her for it in there and they said they couldnt tell me because they didnt have the ok from her, keep in mind mom was on her death bed at the time because st vs said she wouldnt make it. Thankfully she did, but that place is garbage. They dont change sheets when new people come in or give showers! Its deserves 0 stars but cant post unless give 1.

I have been in touch with the new owner Michael and he he working with his teams at Southport Center to make sure my girlfriend is taken care of for the next 6 months there at Southport Center. So I am doing a happy dance now just like snoopy does when he is happy!!!!!
