Southpoint Pharmacy

I'm going to echo a lot of previous reviews here, but we really couldn't be happier with our experience at Southpoint Pharmacy. We've been using them for a few years now and we're consistently blown away by the above-and-beyond customer service we receive. Prasanna Bafna is an exceptional pharmacist and his team is always kind and helpful. On numerous occasions, Prasanna has gone out of his way for us, and I can only imagine how many people he's helped immensely. He greets us by name, even if another staff member is helping us. He's honest and informative, and works hard to find us the most cost-effective options for our medications. He's always willing to reach out to providers on our behalf if there are questions or issues, and we've never once gotten the sense that he's anything but ha

I really appreciate this local pharmacy. The staff actually know me and take the time to help, which is a huge difference compared to the “big box” feel at CVS or Walgreens where you’re just a number in line. Here, it feels personal, efficient, and much more trustworthy. Highly recommend supporting them over the chains.

We had the absolute best experience possible here. My two kids are 7 and 3 and the person giving them their vaccine was so kind and excellent with the kids. I didn't get his name but we were there Tuesday, 9/30/2025 in the afternoon. The appointment was quick, on time, and made fun for the kids. I can't emphasize enough that this was the best experience my kids have ever had with a vaccine.

Since switching from a big pharmacy chain in the area several years ago, I have not looked back. I am thankful to find a pharmacy that cares about their customers! It's gotten to the point Prasana recognizes me when I come in or call on the phone - couldn't be happier with this friendly neighborhood pharmacy!

Once you find a life hack like Southpoint Pharmacy, you use them and realize how much better they are than other phramacies AND doctor's offices. I cannot say enough great things about Southpoint pharmacy, led by Prasanna Bafna. As a family, we get all of our COVID and flu shots here. We are part of major medical systems (WakeMed & UNC), but it is soooo much easier to schedule through their Calendly system. Once you arrive, they are kind, efficient and the entire process is smooth. The staff is knowledgable if there are questions. They have earned our business and we will continue to come see them even though we live 20 minutes away.
