We travel all the way from St. Paul to Southfork Animal Hospital because we trust Dr. Hancock more than any other veterinarian we've ever met. She cares for pets with the same level of protectiveness, kindness, and thoroughness that you’d expect from a doctor treating a child. For us, that’s everything, our dogs are family members and we want them to have the best care possible. Over the years, we’ve rescued several dogs, and we’ve entrusted every one of them to Dr. Hancock’s care. When we learned she was taking over ownership of Southfork Animal Hospital, we were beyond thrilled. Everyone here has been professional and kind. Our first experience here was as walk-ins bringing a dead dog that we had recently adopted who died suddenly and unexpectedly. They were extremely kind and sweet regarding our loss. When I came back later to pick up the towels in which we had wrapped our dearly departed doggy, they had also included a sweet poem, paw print charm, a handwritten note, and many more ink paw prints than we had expected. Then several weeks later, we received a note from the Arbor Day Foundation saying that Southfork Animal Hospital had planted a tree in honor of our dog. My puppy has been helped here a handful of times(GI issues/ Eating or drinking things he shouldn’t be), I love the vets, staff, and vet techs so much. Moving from one state to another was so stressful but I’m so grateful I found people I can trust with my fur baby. Thank you for all that y’all do!

Southfork pet care is exceptional: Compassionate, yet professional. Although the diagnoses and outcomes are not always what I have hoped, the entire staff is always, always lovingly supportive and I know that they truly care about my babies, and have given the very best care possible.
