I recently had all four wisdom teeth removed at South Dade Oral with Dr. Lazo, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the experience. From my first phone call through post-op follow-up, the entire staff was stellar—friendly, professional, and transparent. Specially Libsu, who was awesome since day one!! Dr. Lazo is, without a doubt, one of the most empathetic, down-to-earth, and thorough professionals I’ve ever encountered. He made me feel completely at ease going in. Even the healing process has been smoother than I expected. You can tell Dr. Lazo loves what he does and he prioritizes the patients’ well being. I can’t recommend this practice enough.

I am so grateful I found South Dade, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. I had an amazing experience and Dr.Lazo treated me with so much care. The work environment is very clean, the staff were all very kind and positive, nothing but smiles. Dr.Lazo was very informative about how everything works and was gentle. I’m 18 years old and got all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed under iv anesthesia. While prepping me for the surgery they gave me a rundown of everything important that i needed to know for aftercare. The surgery took no more than an hour and I recovered fully 7 days after and was cleared to eat normal and maintain proper hygiene. I was in the office this past week for a bone spur removal in my gum. It was painless and so quick that I was surprised. I was in and out in a short period of time.Dr Lazo is courteous and tends to his patients needs with reassurance and understanding. Excellent Oral surgeon and human being! Everyone was friendly and professional, and they took the time to explain everything clearly so I always knew what was happening. Dr. Lazo is incredibly detailed and patient. I had a very complicated procedure — a sinus lift with bone graft on my left side, two additional implants with bone grafts on the right, and one more on my lower molar. It sounded overwhelming at first, but Dr. Lazo made it all feel so easy. From the moment I sat in the chair, I felt complete trust and peace. The entire procedure went beautifully — no pain, no swelling, nothing but a perfect outcome. You can tell Dr. Lazo truly loves what he does and takes incredible pride in his work.
