Very compassionate! They helped me through A very difficult time. I had to put my 11 year old Great Dane to sleep. She was in pain and they made sure to make time for me to bring her in on a Saturday. They were all so sweet and helped me get her inside because she was not a little dog. They let spend as much time as I needed to with her and let me know what was going on as they did what was necessary. I'm so glad I got to be with her and was the last person she saw before she was gone. Thay was very important to me. She was my baby and they all treated her as such. I am very thankful to all the ladies that were there for both of us during this heartbreaking time. I got her back a week later so she is back home with me and I cannot say just how much these girls made this a little easier fo

I usually tend to not write reviews, but I felt like I needed to. Vet lied to me yesterday. Vet gave my dog the proheart medication (the 1 year vaccine) without waiting for the negative test results to come back. I asked why she did that, and she said because since my dog was sedated she wanted to do it before my dog could wake up (trust me, my dog was not going to wake up from sedation in the next 45 min). I inquired again, she said because my dog, since she was already in proheart, MOST LIKELY does not have heartworms anyways. Then I asked why then do vets always require bloodwork to be done first. Oh, she said because if the dog had heartworms while using proheart, then proheart would cover for heartworm treatment, so the bloodwork would be proof that the dog didn't have heartworms.. f

Vets are informative. Staff is great with our animals are taken care of properly. Door says open at 0700am and our appointment was at 0800am so we were outside the door at 0745am but the door was locked. People behind the counter ignored us until 0800. If they don't want to open the doors until 0800, change the sign! Bad for business leaving paying, regular customers outside waiting. Animal owners pay a lot of money to have their pets properly taken care of and the owners are the ones with the checkbook. South Rhea owners take notice! [To Owner]-Thursday January 30th @ 0800. We are retired and don't do Saturdays.

We saw Dr Sarah Wallace on a referral from my brother and I’m sooo glad, she and her team have been one of the best things that have happened to us since moving to Rhea county. She not only knows her stuff as it pertains to animal vet care ( dogs, cows and everything in between) but she has compassion for us as companion and livestock animal owners. We would recommend them to anyone who has small or large animal vet needs and farmers that are as busy as it gets.

The staff was very compassionate when my Bigboy crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Their prices for cremation are very reasonable. 40.00 for large dogs if you prefer not to have ashes.
