South Paterson Family Dentistry

I don't go here but I know someone who does, so decided to leave a review, there was an appointment scheduled for today for the person I dropped off, however, she went today and it says that the office is closed, now I called the office and the secretary said that it was closed, but if the office is closed, then why are the secretaries are in the office, and the office is only open for one day because "the dentist is out of town" I don't get it really, also, the secretaries were supposed to call the person to confirm the appointment to be changed, or if it was canceled, they never called her, nor followed up, and they never told her that the office was closed, unprofessional if you ask me..

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. I work in the area so I decided to find a dentist local to my job… the doctor I saw was not very pleasant. She didn’t explain anything, it seemed she was annoyed when I asked a question & she seemed to be in a rush. She informed me I had 8 cavities. Could it be possible? I haven’t had a cleaning in almost 2 years, so yes the possibility was there, but I knew it seemed strange to me because my whole life I only had 2 other cavities. I take pretty good care of my teeth… I decided to get a second opinion. I explained the situation to the new dentist & obviously knowing that the prior dentist found 8 cavities she was very demure & very mindful when looking for the cavities. After checking 3 times and reviewing the X-rays she found ONE! One cavity! So this doctor at sout

Not recommended. They don’t picked up the phone. Also, always late, the appointment was at 11, they didn’t let me in until 1:30 pm. The receptionists are unprofessional and rude Same complaints for years and nothing changes ——- Update after reading their reply Saying that you don’t pick up the phone because the office was under construction is a lie. I called when I was in the office, and the phone was muted, while the receptionist was using her phone to give the prescriptions to the pharmacy. Also, the dentist today( 5/11 ) was late and rude as usual. My advice to all people who looking for professional dentists and receptionists, never go to this place.

I don’t understand the bad reviews on this place because I don’t have one complaint. The whole staff was so accommodating to my anxiety and really took the the time to fix my teeth. The dentist and the office manager (woman at the front desk) fought for my treatment plan and saved my teeth. They appealed my insurance and I got most of my work done within one visit. Amazing. And for those reviews complaining of slow service, the office is a smaller office to its counterpart at West Broadway dental which by the way South Paterson Dental is wayyy better. So yes you might have to wait a little more but it’s well worth it. Thank you South Paterson Family Dental

Why sooo many negative reviews it's the total opposite of what I experience I guess people or sooo sensitive and over react to situations that are not that serious sometimes it doesn't pay off to be nice to people cause u will be taking advantage of people seem.to.forget it's PATERSON where people are not the nicest ...anyways my experience could t be any better the secretary at the. Front desk was the nicest she even gave me a half hour window space cause I was running late coming from long Island as soon as I walked in they took me right away no questions asked the dentist assistant assisted me right away the doctor came in very friendly and respectfull made suree the numbing medicine kicked in b4 she filled my tooth i didn't ask questions she didn't say much and I get it at the end of t
