So grateful that they were able to take in my dog both times for an emergency the same day (GI problems and an attack). They were kind and helpful, and were able to do a surgery same day to help my poor pup. We did notice the pricing was a bit more expensive than the VCA we use to go to, but attribute it to this location possibly being a standalone clinic. They gave us the pros and cons of any service we were on the fence about and were non-judgmental when we asked for something to be removed after weighing our options in the situation. The Doctor and staff were attentive, explained everything well, and were great in taking photos during surgery to keep us in the loop. We were able to get our pup's meds the same day at discharge at the hospital. Thankful to have a local vet we can trust in

This place is great. The waiting times aren't too long. If you don't have insurance, the prices are sky high, as it is with any other vet clinic. But my pet insurance covers most of my expenses, and this place does accept CareCredit payment plans. I love Dr. Kim. I would trust that man with my own life. He is a very honest person. He loves animals, and he always does what he feels is best for your furry companion. There have been multiple times where he's told me that treatment wasn't necessary. Whenever treatment was necessary or recommended, he always gave me a multitude of options to choose. from.

Took my puppy here because my regular vet was completely booked. They were accommodating, extremely kind and they explained everything in great detail! Turns out my puppy ate part of my broom! Of course she was acting fine as soon as we got there, but even then they did not brush me off. They said i could bring her back if she got worse or just bite the bullet and do xrays.. which i did! 10/10 would go again

This place is great! I usually take my pups to Banfield at the West Covina Eastland Center though lately, Banfield has been extremely short staffed & thus, have incredibly long wait times / lines. I come here to specifically get my pups’ ears cleaned & anal glands expressed — sometimes for nail trims (pedicures) as well. This place is definitely more “affordable” than Banfield! As in, the prices here are less expensive than Banfield’s. (Although vet care is expensive in general, which is why I use quotes). I’d really like if SH Animal Hospital were to incorporate a user-friendly app like what Banfield has + If you guys can create some sort of membership plan (similar to Banfield’s Pet Wellness plans). Just some suggestions!

I have been bringing my Siberian Huskies here for years Dr.Park and Dr.Kim are awesome they are kind caring to both patients and owners they don’t try to sell you what you don’t need they are honest and knowledgeable as well. I recently had to put one of my Siberian Huskies down and I was a mess they showed compassion and kindness towards me and my family I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for awesome vets RIP Bandit gone but never forgotten 🐾
