Conveniently located in downtown Bettendorf, Soothe and Renew was easy to find. Sarah is a natural healer who welcomed me into her lovely space and helped me to feel comfortable. Her hands were very warm and full of energy during the massage. I had a mayofascial massage which is very different than what most would expect from a massage. The movements were very slow and deeply relaxing, pinpointing many areas that needed attention. Sarah had advised me that the fascia is kind like a web, and imagine it like untangling a necklace. I could feel this happening in my body until it seemed she was holding a ball of pain in her healing hands. She was able to feel into where my body needed release.
