My kiddos started going here last year, had no problems until today when the manager wanted to be rude. Last week had brought my kiddos in for a cleaning and was explain that there needed to be some work done on my daughter “tooth” only to find out today when sent the (Propose Treatment plan) That 2 of her teeth needed worked on. That was not explained to me. They only explained that one tooth needed work on. I then was confused on why under the insurance Paid portion it showed 0.00? So I simply called my insurance company and explained what was going on They were also confused on why they never received a prior authorization so nicely enough they called children’s dentistry While also leaving me on the phone so we could figure out what was going on. My kids have gone here for 4 years. In the beginning the appointments were on time and things felt good. Over the last year or so, the time spent waiting for appointments has dramatically increased. Like, waiting 30 to 40min past our scheduled appointment to be called back for tooth cleanings. Today we waited an hour and I left with my child before being seen because that was the final straw. At the very least, it would be courteous to notify parents of any delays so they can plan accordingly instead of waiting in a cramped waiting room with a bunch of other parents and their (understandably) antsy children. This scheduling logistical issue is something that needs to be examined and fixed. Dr. Peterson is a nice man and I’ve always appreciated his input, but his office is underperforming

Dr Peterson and staff are wonderful with the kids and the whole place is so welcoming and fun for little ones. Definitely helps decrease the anxiety my daughter has about going to the dentist!

The office is a blast and so child friendly. They’re all so sweet and patient with the kids and the Dr. explains everything thoroughly and doesn’t make the appointment feel rushed.

My daughter has some dental work that needed done. We have Equitable for insurance through an employer that we use as primary as well as medicaid through the state as secondary. After we got done with the consultation we were told they would not do the procedure due to us having states insurance. I drove over an hour for this appointment. I am not understanding why we were denied treatment solely because we have medicaid even though we only use that as secondary insurance. I feel like it should be procedure to ask customers in advance if they use states insurance. They should be informing them that they are unable to treat them to prevent wasting anyone's time.
