Somerset Woods Rehabilitation & Nursing Center

Somerset Woods is a great place. My aunt stayed here for some time and received lovely care. When she needed to return to a nursing home two years later, Somerset Woods was my first choice. The Admissions Director, Debora, was exceptionally helpful and kind throughout the process. I would recommend this facility.

Here To the Management of Somerset Woods Rehabilitation, I am writing to share my family’s experience with Somerset Woods Rehabilitation, in hopes that this feedback leads to real improvements within the facility. During my family member’s stay, we encountered several ongoing concerns. The food was consistently served cold and felt overpriced for the quality provided. More importantly, there were frequent issues with responsiveness—my family member often had to call me multiple times because they could not get staff to check on them in a timely manner. This was extremely unsettling and raised serious questions about resident care. The interactions with some staff were also disappointing. Somerset Woods was the best Rehab for my Husband Hands down!! After visiting other placing we knew we made the right choice!! The Staff was kind and Helpful, The Nurses were very Sweet. Nurse Tiffany, Nurse Yvonne, Nurse Charmaine were amazing💯 The House Keeping was on point and keep our room clean she Smiled every day! The Techs were attentive and nice!! Administration was very Helpful in making a Smooth transition to Rehab and the Discharge Day. Junel, Marie and Deb Thank you so much because we had no clue what to do but you all eased our fears!! My husband spent his Birthday there and the room was nice and big enough for family to come and eat and enjoy, that was awesome for our family. My wife was recently hospitalized and required rehab after spending quite a bit of time unable to get out of bed. This was her second time needing rehab in recent years, and the second time we chose Somerset Woods. I'm glad to report that we made the right decision on both occasions. But I'll reflect on the most recent here. The reception for my spouse was seamless. The orders and medications were ready and they quickly put in place plans and orders to finish any diagnostic work or follow-ups that followed with her from the hospital. The care staff, starting with the aides was always kind, gentle and involved good communication. Administration is good. Wish i could have seen them more. Therapists were great.KR.Tommie.and the rest were phenomenal . Bob from Recreation and Activities works very hard and so does his staff. The Staff.of Aides and Nurses are very attentive. Sometimes there are language barriers Understood. JR, Omeka.Jovana, Yvonne are well above average. Communication with the Health Insurance companies need to be smoothed. I was kicked out do to a clerical error. Still dealing with health repercussions. Save your life and stay away.
