I think my increasingly debilitating fear of the dentist began here. The office staff are inept, hygienist was ok, but the doctors were frosty and robotic (at best). I'd like to know what insurance the positive reviews have because I have a sneaking suspicion those with low cost/free insurance do not receive the same care. I had several visits over the course of a year, so this review is not based on a one and done. I actually asked one dentist during an extraction why he was being so mean to me and he seemed to make a little bit more of an effort to act like I was a fellow human. One time I sat in their waiting room for 45 minutes after I checked in. It was an hour drive and I have taken the day off work. We had a very concerning experience at this dental office with my nephew. He went in to have dental surgery(the amount of problem teeth grew) and without updated X-rays, there was discussion of working on or possibly pulling all of his baby teeth and drilling an adult tooth for what was described as a “suspect” spot. We requested new X-rays before any major decisions were made, and that request was refused, which felt irresponsible—especially when treating a child. I do want to note that the anesthesiologist was very kind and took the time to talk us through everything, answering questions and showing genuine care and patience. Absolutely terrible! They are all about money.... The dentist ask if we found out where my daughter k9 teeth were.. That isnt my job....Beth Becker is horrible and her condescending attitude toward my daughter is unacceptable. She told my daughter that she will have to brush better or she will have all her teeth pulled. My daughter issues are due to over crowding not brushing. They refused to start the braces because she has 2 baby teeth.. I call multiple orthodontist and they literally asked why didn't they pull the 2 baby teeth. Why would they do the right thing. They make money off of fillings. Today was my last straw. I have waited 2 months for an appointment to get a tooth extracted that they never bothered to finish fixing before stopping adult care (which caused severe damage to the tooth).. they call me an hour before I had to leave to cancel the appointment. My husband took a day off of work for this.

Both my husband and I got our wisdom teeth out at the Somerset location, and our son goes there as well for pediatrics. We’ve had a fantastic experience so far! All the staff are friendly and professional, quick to answer the phone and return calls, and in general quick to see you. We had a great experience with the oral surgeon, Dr Speca, with little to no post-op pain and fast recoveries. Plus great post-op care! It was fast and easy to schedule out surgeries, and they handled everything with insurance very quickly. They are fabulous with kids too, and even give them little prizes at each visit to make them more comfortable! My little guy had a good experience. The office in general is up-to-date and very clean!
