Smith's Pharmacy

Staff very unprofessional. They will argue with the customer if you question them. And the female pharmacist will throw your prescription and walk away in a huff, like a child not getting their way. Will never do business with the pharmacy again. I know one person won't break them but i will not be treated like an idiot when it comes to mine and my husband's medicines. These aren't new meds for us and I know how they should be filled.

I transferred my son's prescription to this pharmacy from a major one because they had it in stock when everyone else was out. That was last month. I set it up through my Fresh Rewards account so I could monitor it as it can only be prescribed once in a 30 day period. Today, Saturday 14 December, is the specific date for his medication. When I checked the app yesterday, the app told me I could schedule pickup of this prescription *today* at 2 pm, the worst time to find parking or go into the store. After struggling to find parking and waiting behind a pissed off customer, I am told by the pharmacy that this prescription is only available for pickup Mon-Fri. No explanation given except "that's just our policy" and then confusion about the app allowing me to schedule for pickup today. So now

I am sooooooo done with this pharmacy! No one listens to me! I have told them several times (different individuals) there are only two medications I want on auto refill. Last week they refilled one but I had surgery & could not go pick it up. I gave my sister my debit card & asked her to pick it up for me. She brought me 3 prescriptions two of which I do not take anymore! When I called I was told it was time for their auto refills. It cost me $36 plus Medicare will pay for the difference. I am filing a complaint with my insurance and the Kroger corporate office.

They used to be more competent, but lately, they have been very slow at times. I called in refills and they kept saying they had to order new ones, taking as long as 3 weeks to fill them! These are important diabetic medications too. Also, a few of the clerks have been rude and impatient, including one pharmacist! Other staff have been courteous and prompt. It's like spinning a wheel to find out what kind of service you'll receive here.

Aisles can be a little too narrow where two carts can barely pass each other in the opposite direction. Despite that, this store always seems to stay clean and well organized. Staff has always been polite here as well.
