Smith's Pharmacy

Sure wish I could leave a negative amount for this store. Help here is pathetic and the "check yourself out" system is ridiculous. Get a clue Smiths....Your prices are ridiculously high, you MAKE people check out their own purchases when every other store I shop in has an option and employees for that. The store is outdated! I will NEVER shop in this store again. Here's a novel thought....treat your customers with the respect they deserve...after all they are reason you have a job!!!!!

This place is SO slow. I asked them to pull my scripts from CVS and move them there and they told me it would probably take many days, and that CVS/Walgreens don’t tend to pick up the phone. So I went elsewhere and they had it all taken care of the same day. They don’t open until pretty darn late, so I mostly couldn’t coordinate pick up and grocery shopping, and there was usually only one person doing the scripts and then another person that would wait on you. But I could stand there for a long time before anyone would saunter up to the register. So, despite how awesome it would be to get scripts where I grocery shop, there is no way I can deal with the apathy. Brian and Gil are great, but they are about to lose my business because the system says my prescriptions will be ready after 2 pm on Monday and only one is. Still waiting after 2nd trip. I can see by other reviews I am not alone. Don't waste my time call me when they all are ready.

Many times my prescription is not ready. This time I ordered 2 medicines on the phone on Sunday at 5 pm. I get a text on Thursday to pick up. I went on Friday at 3 pm and they said one is ready put I have wait for the other because they are just filling it up. Their excuse was they are short handed. I am about the switch.

Smith's Market & Pharmacy are top notch. Been going there since I moved to Rio Rancho over 26 years ago. Market selection are typically always in stock, and of course their meat & poultry selection is the best in all of New Mexico for chain markets. Known staff there for years and know us by our first names now, you don't see that at other Markets I started to switch my Rx's to Smith's I Pharmacy recently from Walgreens and its like night & day with excellent service. Example, waiting over 1.5 hours in the dr8ve thru line with 9 cars in front to pick up a couple of Rx's at Walgreens only to to get 1/2 one filled, and the 2nd one was still in process even though my Dr. called it in at 9am and I stopped by around 9:00pm to pick up. Inside the pick up desk is just as bad. Sent my first 2 new
