Office is outdated. I have extreme dental anxiety as many do and when I was choking during a cleaning and raised my left hand as requested the dr spoke to me like a child and said no, I need to finish. She passive aggressively asked if I “am able to floss” and overall shamed me for the status of my teeth. When I called within the 24hr policy to reschedule my daughters cleaning the man said “oh we will let it go this time” referring to the $25 cancellation fee (which i have happily paid in the past) to which I responded “there is nothing to let go im within policy”. They do sell good whitening trays but services are overall lacking.

Love this dentist office. Highly Recommend ...... They Got me in fast, even being a new patient. Already got my husband and kids set up to start going here. Everyone is very friendly & polite - Carlos at the front desk is so kind and Dr Martinez is SUPURB ! She personally called to check on me the next day ( WHOA! Who does that now days ?? ) Smiles of Michigan in Okemos does that's who.

The extraction of a broken tooth went very well. No pain. The next week I saw a new doctor who hadn't seen my treatment plan and didn't know I had already had an extraction. She started talking about all the cavities I had in the right front tooth, something not in my dental treatment plan. She didn't use lidocaine to numb the area with the shots and it hurt. I was very nervous thinking that she might not know what she was supposed to do. I also don't want too loose my front right tooth, which has a slight crack in it. If she drills into it, I am afraid it might break. I can't afford anymore teeth replacements. I thought she seems unprepared.

Loved this dentist. The whole team was always considerate and kind. Always willing to take the extra time to explain billing and took extra care when doing a filling when I was having sensitivity issues

Best dentist experience my husband and I have ever received. Very thorough and friendly. Will go here as long as I can.
