Okemos Family Dentistry, PC

Started coming here in 1999 when it was owned by Dr. Currier. Sadly, the new owners have lost my trust. After a botched crown last year, I continued to get dental cleanings here. I had neck surgery at Vanderbilt university last year and the (world renowned) surgeon told me i should no longer get prophylactic dental radiographs. I was scheduled for a dental cleaning today and the hygienist (also wanted to sell me an unneeded bite guard last time I saw her), who showed up 10 minutes late from lunch, spent 20 minutes trying to sell me unscheduled dental radiographs, talking down to me the entire time (I am a veterinarian). Dr Cook requested to speak with my surgeon and couldn't explain why he felt the need to do that. Dr Cook says he will not allow cleanings without radiographs. Wow. My f

Dr. Cook and the entire team at Okemos Family Dentistry are outstanding. Dr. Cook is not only highly competent and caring, but also makes each visit quick, painless, and friendly. The front desk staff is always warm, welcoming, and efficient, making scheduling and checking in so easy. I always feel comfortable and well cared for from the moment I walk in. I would highly recommend Okemos Family Dentistry to family and friends for the exceptional professionalism and kindness they consistently provide.

All and I do mean all of their staff are very friendly and have positive attitudes. We have never had an issue with billing (the reason we left out previous dentist) and the ladies in the office are very knowledgeable and helpful. My dentist is Justin and he’s the best. Can’t say enough good things about all the folks here.

Everyone in this office is kind and professional. After suddenly being without a dentist while in the middle of implant procedures, they took me in, picked up the pieces and continued the process for me. I will be grateful forever. I feel so comfortable and confident with my new dentist and staff.
