This place is amazing—I’ve been coming here for years, and they truly treat me like family. I get my cleaning once a year, and they always take the time to educate me on how to properly care for my teeth and maintain my dental health. I initially left a 1-star review because I was frustrated after waiting nearly 50 minutes past my scheduled appointment time. At the time, it felt like my time wasn’t being respected—but after being seen, I want to be fair and share the full picture. The service I received was excellent. The staff was understanding of my frustration. The office itself is spotless, modern, and very well-located with easy parking. Once I was attended to, I felt genuinely cared for and heard. I’m glad I stayed, and I’m very happy with the overall care I received. Delays can happen, and while I still think wait times should be improved, the quality of the service made up for it. Updating my review to reflect that.

Smile Dental Family is a place I would highly recommend. I recently got some dental work done and they did a great job. Super professional service and for that reason I will keep coming back.

On December 18, I had two teeth prepped for crowns at Smile Family Dental Group through a VA Community Care referral. After the procedure, I was sent home with both teeth left exposed and no temporary crowns placed. This is a basic standard of dental care and should not occur. When I reported this to the VA, the office manager, who is also the owner, failed to take responsibility and provided inaccurate information to VA staff about what happened. There was no accountability, no apology, and no attempt to correct the issue. Due to the seriousness of this lapse in care and the lack of honesty afterward, I will be filing a formal complaint with the Florida Board of Dentistry. I had some dental work done at Smile Family in Coral Gables. As one can imagine I was nervous and fearful of the procedure, but Dr. Paola exhibited a sympathetic bedside manner. Her great bedside manner was only surpassed by her extraordinary talent as an odontologist.
