SMC Urgent Care

I don’t believe it is open anymore. Google says open ,I called their phone says they are open but no answer. Drove up there and doors were locked but hours on door said 8-5 and it was 11:30 am.

Came in at a few minutes after 4pm. They stop taking patients at 4:15 & close at 5. I get there & go to the front desk, the girl working had terrible customer service skills (can tell she’s in a bad mood, talking so quietly I keep having her repeat herself so I can hear, has 0 urgency about getting me signed in and to a room) DR is the same way..neither of them seem like they want to be there, I don’t know if I just ruined their mood by coming in toward the end of the day or if they got into some argument before I got here but the vibe is WEIRD. Definitely not coming back here again . I suggest just going to the Immediate care on US 31 (by Walmart & Key bank) everyone there is always so friendly & you get in fast. I just tried this place today because it’s closer to me but a total waste of

Walked in after a fall and spraining my ankle. The woman at the front desk was super nice and patient. The doctor answered questions and listened to my concerns. Sent medications to my pharmacy right away. They even called me 3 days later to see how my foot was doing or if I needed anything else. I’ve never had an urgent care call me to check on me! I definitely recommend them!

Love Dr. Tony! I get my DOT physical at SMC annually. 6 years ago, i stopped in for a fever and what I thought was a UTI and he caught that I had cellulitis and sent me to the hospital and then did rounds there to check in on me! Probably saved my life as I went septic, antibiotics weren't working and a whole slew of other complications took place. He always asks about my spouse who visits occasionally as well! Staff is always pleasant, respectful and private! Mrs. D

These people are excellent! They really care about their patients witch is kinda hard to find in an emergency situation. I have been to several other clinic"s before and you get the feeling your just another" dollar" to them.Well not with this Dr. him & his staff is top notch in my book I'll never go to any other for now on! If anyone is looking for an Urgent care to go to I would highly recommend this place. Thank You so much! Donald W. Sherron
