I figured it's about time I write a review for this veterinary practice. Every single person at this practice, from the veterinarians to the vet techs to the administrative staff, is exceptional. The vets are not only incredibly skilled and knowledgeable, but also deeply compassionate. They take the time to explain everything clearly, answer all of our questions, and make sure we feel confident and informed about every decision. The vet techs are gentle, attentive, and wonderful with our sometimes anxious crew (we have three cats and one dog) and the front desk staff is warm, organized, and always welcoming — you can tell they genuinely care about both the animals and their humans. I wanted to share a recent, personal experience that has profoundly reinforced my passion for veterinary dental care. For the past 20 years in the veterinary field, and the last eight as a Licensed Veterinary Technician, dental procedures have been one of my core passions. I value the high level of involvement required and the significant impact we have on our patients’ comfort and overall health. I also enjoy educating clients on the importance of at-home dental care. The importance of this work was recently solidified with my own dog, Kiwi, an 8- to 9-year-old Cattle Dog mix. I can’t say enough great things about Sleepy Hollow Animal Hospital. Kate helped me last minute in such a fast, kind, and professional manner, and every single staff member was absolutely wonderful. I recently moved to a different state, but I had been bringing my three-year-old basset hound here since he was a puppy, and they always took incredible care of him. Dr. Doherty and her team are fantastic. Two years ago, I was nervous about moving out of the city and finding a vet I could trust with my adopted cat, Stanny.
