Skylands Pediatrics

I have had a great experience with this office, and all of the doctors here. My son was born with numerous birth defects that required multiple surgeries and I have been taking him to this office from the day we left the NICU when he was barely 4 pounds. They have been amazing, guiding us and watching him grow. Not all offices are as compassionate and as kind as this one has been, and I am so glad this staff, and these doctors have been a part of our journey. As for Dr. Spensieri? I am sorry to hear that someone else gave her a bad review here, but from my experience, when she called us to follow up on CHRISTMAS DAY when my kid had croup, or the time when he finally started walking (he was delayed) and she told me that seeing him walk was "that was the best gift she could be given"

My children have been patients here for the last seven years. I appreciate the short wait times. But most of all, I am thankful to have the pediatricians full attention during our appointments. They truly listen. All of the doctors and nurses are remarkable.

I had to edit my review. After using this practice for years they’ve been a big letdown. I don’t recommend them unless you’re looking for one size fits all medicine. They’re only good for prescribing unnecessary medications (like Tamiflu for little babies, which is actually an off-label use of a very unsafe drug). Front desk staff was never particularly polite. There are better practices out there, I don’t recommend this one.

I do not hate the practice or the other doctors I have seen, I just hate Dr. Spensieri. She is the worst doctor I have ever brought my children too. She has no bedside manner and always contradicts the parent. I know I am not a doctor, but she seems to always have the last word.

Helpful office staff and knowledgeable doctors and nurses. The Sparta office is open 7 days a week and a Dr. is always on call.
