Frankel Foot & Ankle Center

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This morning I broke my pinky toe. I went to urgent care first thing, but they wouldn’t treat it since it was broken. I happened to be driving past Dr. Frankel’s office as they were opening, so I stopped in. The receptionist was so kind and helpful — she got me on the schedule for the moment the doctor arrived, just two hours later. The X-ray tech was also amazing — gentle, caring, and understanding, even though my toe was at a 45-degree angle and incredibly painful. There was no wait at all, once Dr. Frankel came in he immediately made me feel at ease. His sweet dog, Hippo, stayed by my side the whole time, making a really painful situation so much better. While Dr. Frankel gave me the numbing injections and straightened my toe, I got to pet Hippo — which honestly helped more

I had pain in the ball of my foot which was extremely uncomfortable. I went to Dr. Frankel. He took X-rays & gave me a night boot, which he said to wear for 1 hour a day. He also gave me a shot which didn’t seem to help. I was not given any exercises to do. He rushed me & I was in the middle of asking a question when he was actually walking out of the room. I canceled my follow up & wasn’t even asked why. I went to another podiatrist who was amazing. He gave me exercises as well as said to wear the boot overnight & was extremely patient, answering all of my questions.

As a parent of a young child, it can be nerve-wracking to see a Doctor who is not necessarily a pediatric specialist. However, after bringing my son to see Dr. Frankel, there is no one else I would and will ever trust with his foot and/or ankle care. I first had to visit Dr. Frankel with my son when he was just a couple of months old due to an issue he was born with. Dr. Frankel was calm, compassionate and professional and had me leaving the appointment knowing we were in good hands. When we had to return to Dr. Frankel when my son was just under 2, his bedside manner was remarkable and he made sure my son felt comfortable and met him at his level so he was not scared or nervous to be at the doctor. Great experience. I was seen within 5 mins of arrival, Dr Frankel diagnosed the issue and treated it in office, and I was out the door 20 mins later. Dr F is kind and has great bedside manner without unnecessarily dragging appts out. His therapy dog is awesome, too.

Kept taping my foot with his “miracle tape”, said he would order an MRI if no improvement. 3 visits later, would not order an MRI, had no answer for my foot pain. Thankfully my PCP ordered the MRI-I have several stress fractures and a neuroma. Stay clear of Dr. Franek!
