After living in one of the Sinsky’s rental units for 7 years, we thought Gary Sinsky was a good landlord. That is until he told us that we didn’t have to pay two months’ rent to break our lease, and then turned around and refused to give us our security deposit after we left the house in such clean condition. When my wife called to ask, he said we should have asked for it in writing or recorded the conversation so that he would be bound by law to honor it. So sneaky and shifty. If you rent from him, get every single thing in writing so he doesn’t try to gaslight you to put more money in his already full pockets.
