I notice that my vision had gotten worse very rapidly, I made an appointment for an eye exam. Due to medication I was on I developed early cataracts. I was told by my doctor to see Dr Clarke Nelson at the Katzen Owings Mills location. He explained everything to me very thoroughly and didn’t pressure me to have surgery. I was uneasy driving because my left eye was all hazy with dark areas. I told him that I wanted to have surgery, so we scheduled the worst eye first and tentatively scheduled the second eye a few weeks later. I was extremely nervous to have eye surgery while awake. My temperature was taken upon my arrival by a very pleasant office clerk & the seating area was spaced for self distancing, The doctor's assistant was also very pleasant, which put my mind at ease. The doctor was very thoughtful & explained in detail the answers to questions that concerned me. I was very pleased with the overall treatment that I received at Katzen Eye Group.

Dr. Parallel, as usual, was pleasant, professional, and very easy to communicate with. The staff was very friendly and pleasant. And Kaitlin Barbara was a delight to deal with. She made scheduling my surgery very easy. I would recommend Katzen Eye Group to any of my family, friends, or coworkers if they have any eye issues or problems.

What a great group of people, everyone was very nice and very helpful, and took great pains to make sure that everything was clean. It was also probably the most extensive examination that I have ever had even going to Willmar was not as good as the exam I had during my appointment. They were very informative and transparent about everything, make me feel safe and comfortable with having this cataract removal. I would most definitely recommend Katzen Eye Group.
