Been bringing my son here for about 8 years and my sister and mom came here since the 90s. It’s always been great. Dr Simon son is a great doctor and the front desk staff is always amazing. Today we came in and there’s a new girl at the front desk who is super rude and not friendly at all. I’m hoping this is a one time deal because if it’s not I’ll have to find a new eye doctor for my kid

Dr. James L Simonson OD is an outstanding and very dedicated eye doctor. He has been serving Taft California, since 1981, 38. years I use to goto to here all of my elementary years through highschool. I always enjoyed his clinic. I've ordered both glasses and contacts from here. They have great prices, a nice selection of frames, Dr. Simonson makes the whole process, a breeze, he also does an adjustment and fitting, with you to make sure your glasses fit you perfect. 👓 I highly recommend this place, as his experience alone is Top-notch, he has a very mellow personality and is pretty laid back guy, overall a very relaxing environment. Today was my first time ever going here. This place is a God send. My frames from another place broke, and I definitely can't go without my glasses. I brought them into this office to see if I can purchase just frames that fit my lenses since I can't afford new lenses right now. The lady at the front desk told me she'll see what they have. After a bit of a wait she came back with my lenses in a new frame. I asked how much I owed. She said "Nothing, they're free. They're a pair of donated frames." Everyone donating their still usable frames really needs to be a thing everywhere.

Dr. Simonson is the Best. And his staff is always so helpful and friendly.
