Silver Stream Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

My brother has been admitted to this facility several weeks ago and so far he is doing very well. Very happy with Silver Stream!! We visit him on the regular and have noticed how nice and friendly everyone is. Starting with the director of admissions Kristina. She was amazing and made his transfer there so smooth. Also, Mary is amazing, she reached out to me quickly after admission to ask how everything was going so far and continues to follow up weekly! Mary is great at her job. Keep up the great work ! 😊

My grandma has been living at Silverstream for the last 2.5 years, and we’re really thankful for the care she’s received. The staff is kind and always treats her with respect, and the food is really good too. Even though the building is a little older, housekeeping does a great job keeping it clean. It gives our family peace of mind knowing she’s safe and well looked after we truly appreciate everything they do for her.

Not very good. They're not very sanitary and the rooms look old rusted. Furniture in rooms need to be updated. Bathrooms in rooms are in very poor conditions. Can never get answers to questions about your family member residing there. They're always telling you, you need to speak to so and so, but they're not there at the moment. Half the staff are very difficult to understand what they're saying due to their accents. I do have to say that I've met two very nice CNA whom took the time to speak slow and clear , so we could understand. They were very professional and compassionate towards our concerns about our family member. Those two were the exception. The rest, from case manager, to administrator, and rest of attendants, were very cold and uncaring.

I'm fighting a GI infection that causes me to defecate within 1 hour after eating. The nurses know this..the aides know this, yet today again I am laying in my own excrement for an hour after pressing my call..I could understand a 1 time thing but this is the 7th day in a row I have waited at least twice a day for over an hour..avoid this place.
