0/5 stars My friend is in this ER right now: 2 hours in the waiting room, then another 2 hours in a room with no doctor—4 hours total with severe abdominal pain. They told the nurse 5 times they were in agony and were told that they would inform the doctor. But… still no doctor. (So far, blood pressure was checked) Nothing was offered for relief No information provided “The doctor will see you soon” (again) The nurse came back for Urinal sample (still no doctor) At this point that person asked me to please write a review because of how ridiculous the situation seems. This seems odd to say the least but not sure who is to truly blame. The nurses and doctors are probably swamped and underpaid but what kind of hospital service is this? No empathy, no compassion. Either they need a LOT

On day 4 of my hospital admission, which was day 15 of my persistent and escalating symptoms, I reported severe pelvic pain, pressure, radiating discomfort, and functional impairment. Walking was the only activity that helped relieve the pain, and I specifically did so because I wanted to avoid taking blood thinners during my stay. I clearly communicated this to my physician, yet my clinical notes inaccurately describe me as “ambulating the halls,” misrepresenting both my experience and the purpose of my movement. Despite objective findings and repeated reports of worsening symptoms, I was told I was “not in pain” and “not inflamed” because a CT scan performed one week prior did not show inflammation. Got surgery here and felt like royalty. Everyone was so so kind and gentle. I don't know about the emergency department but my care team under Dr. Ueno was amazing.

I love this hospitals mission. They love to take care of people no matter their financial status! How amazing is this! Each caregiver we have ran into was excellent. I feel the difference from Eskenazi to other major hospital networks. Their fantastic!

Recently was admitted and spent about a week in Eskanzai Hospital. First started out in the ER, nurses were really great and cared. Hospital Manager came by and checked in with me, which was nice. Was sent to the 6th floor on green side of hospital and the nurses on the 6th floor that took care of me were magnificent and sweet angels <3 Shout out to Nurse Steph on 6th floor and the nurse on the 6th floor that has a brother in law doctor that works in the ER, thank you for taking great care of me
