Beware - only come here if you’re good with your provider dropping you mid-treatment with no assistance for continuing care. They won’t treat you for an injury unless it happened at your home, they won’t treat you for a number of things. No referral offered when you need to go see a specialist. Specialist won’t see you without a referral from your PCP. Result is you’re left hung out to dry with no help at all! The staff is incompetent, doctors don’t care, they’re all overworked, and you are just a co-pay.

There has never been a time when I needed medical care immediately that I have not been see that day. If I am out of town I talk on the phone with Dr. Woodard or Dr. Girard by end of day. They are both kind and listen. Having a practice that places their patients first is refreshing and feels safe. Thank you.

I recently had my six month checkup with Dr. Girard and wanted to share my experience. I wasn’t asked for this review but wanted to share how much I appreciate her and her medical knowledge. She had given me some instructions as to vitamins to take and foods to avoid. I did what she told me to do and the results of my bloodwork report were very good. I have complete confidence in her and know that I am in good hands.

I've been going to Shores Medical for 2 years and they are always pleasant. Dr. Woodard is very nice and has a great staff working with him. Tara James, APN is a tell-it-like-it-is kind of caregiver and that is refreshing. I like that she explains what is going on in terminology that I understand and when she doesn't have the equipment to run a certain test - is quick to refer you. I had a scare with my iron levels and she went above an beyond to help me, including calling the ER personally to speak to the on-call doctor to get me help. I'm really excited that she will be DOCTOR Tara James very soon!

I had been going to this doctor's office for awhile but recently had a horrible experience I can only describe as emotionally abusive and I will not be going back for more. First of all, the office has a sign saying that patients must wear masks but some do not wear them in the crowded indoor waiting room if they don't feel like it. The staff does not support you when you request that other patients wear masks as well as you. They will refuse to treat you and not tell you where to go to get treated if you tell them you think you may have a sinus problem. Last but not least, I could not get my meds in a timely fashion and was yelled at and hung up on by one of the nurses on call. I am a very likable person and this is not my problem.
