Shaw's Pharmacy

Bad experience this week. Picked up medication, and the medication bottle was defective, causing me to lose about 25% of the bottle as I tried to fix it. I returned to the pharmacy to get a new, functioning, full bottle, and the pharmacist refused to give me a replacement or refund. She told me to call the "manufacturer" (as though if I buy an item in the store, and the item is broken, and the store refused to refund it). This led to me being on the phone with the "manufacturer" for an hour, and the need for them to do an "investigation" before they will consider sending me a replacement medicine. So, I am without medicine and without recourse to have malfunctioning item replaced. Seems quite scam-like, and is a disappointment all around.

I've always had good service from the staff, even though they often seem harried and overrun. The few times I've needed a prescription in a hurry, they always came through. My only issue is with their archaic computer software, which abbreviates names. My name "Dana" become "Dan", which has resulted in me getting somebody else's prescription. I always check to make sure my prescription is correct before I leave the counter.

Pharmacist is rude for no reason. She’s consistently unpleasant every time I go or need to call. Please have more patience and empathy if you’re going to be handling peoples’ medications.

After switching to Osco I couldn’t believe the difference from my previous pharmacy (CVS Biddeford)! NOT ONCE have I had an issue with getting my prescription filled at Osco. I whole heartedly recommend them!!! The two women I see there most times are so nice! A couple weeks ago I had strep throat and my antibiotics hadn’t come through the system yet and the manager told me that as soon as it did she would make sure to fill it right away and that she did! When I went back to get it she told me she hoped I felt better and I thought it was very sweet of her! 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽 Excellent customer service and shows a genuine care for helping others! ❤️

*****DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY***** Had an RX sent in at 946 AM. I called in at 11:46 to verify it’s ready. Was advised it’s ready. Showed up at 14:45 and was advised they don’t have enough product. I asked if it can be ordered and when it will be in?. The staff (Dina, Skyler) had no idea when. I asked to speak to the pharmacist (Skyler) and they said sure have a seat. I sat for over 30 minutes for Skyler to speak with me and he never came out behind counter. Not sure what he is afraid of?? If you want excuses and the lowest form of customer service go there. If you want to be treated like a customer, go somewhere else. This is the reason the big box pharmacies are taking over. Dr. M.K. Sanders
