Shandal S. Emanuel, MD, MPH

Dr. Emanuel, has been my doctor for over a decade. She's a wonderful doctor who cares about her patients. She makes you feel more like a family member instead of a patient to be honest. She listens and finds the best care for you.

Dr. Emmanuel has entirely to many clients that anyone could handle. I think she's a great person, unfortunately has to many patients to be able to give each one the time they need and deserve on they're visit. Basically takes your blood pressure, ask a couple questions then sends you to labs. You don't even have a chance to express your symptoms. Which has lead to my health being neglected

My mother was recently admitted to Nash General. We were blessed to have Dr. Emanuel make her daily rounds checking up on my mothers progress & treatments during her stay in the hospital. She was very knowledgeable & patiently listened to my concerns regarding mothers progress & treatments. I was made to feel no question was insignificant. Her follow up on questions/requests were great! We were both impressed & have no complaints while under Dr. Emanuels care. We highly recommend her if anyone is looking for a doctor. 🌺

This rating is for the call center. Ms Nia could really benefit from customer service training. When calling to set up a new patient appointment for my daughter I was asked for her ssn which is new to me. Now had she simply explained that it was policy then I would have said okay and kindly found another doctor. Instead, she asked me to hold on and transferred me to anther office. That was unprofessional and uncalled for. If you cannot simply communicate then customer service is no the job for you.

I feel like she didn’t listen to my concerns regarding my daughter and her health. Did not agree on a lot of things. Love her nurses though!
