Sergei Dolgopolov MD, FACS

I did not select this surgeon, I just walked into the ER at Lenox Hill, found out I need immediate surgery, and there pops up Dr Dolgopolov. Visually and clearly annoyed that he's there on a Friday night. He could not care less whether I felt OK, how I was treated post surgery, if I was recovering OK or if I was given the appropriate amount of antibiotics (I wasn't...). All I had was an appendectomy but ended up with a heart condition that I'm still struggling with years later, that has landed me in the ER at least 4 times... All he and his office ever cared about was getting paid. Not to say that they shouldn't, but they were harassing me for over a year because they didn't file the paperwork correctly with my insurance. So, there you have it. An absolute sorry excuse for a doctor. UPDATE

Amazing Doctor!!! He removed my daughter gallbladder and did an awesome job. He listens and gives maximum attention to the patient. I strongly suggest Dr.Serge Dolgopolov to be your surgeon!!!!

I had surgery with Dr Dolgopolov 6 months ago and needless to say it went very well and I am very happy with the out come, as for other surgeons told me I could live with the condition I had and they were wrong. I also have the pleasure to work for him and hear the patients give great reviews for him. Thank You
