We love working with Dr. Sikafoose! She has been a great resource for us with our dog’s autoimmune skin disorder over the past year and a half and truly changed his life. The day we started working with Dr. Sikafoose, our dog could barely walk and was very ill. Without Dr. Sikafoose, I do not know where we would be today. Thank you Dr. Sikafoose and Aida for all that you do for us!

I had only one experience here and it was not a positive one. The Veterinary Assistant by the name of Crystal, was very rude to me and does not handle cats well. She was very aggressive with my cat who was already in distress and now traumatized after one visit to this place. I will not return as a client and will refer people to avoid this place. If someone is still a Veterinary Assistant after 20 years, with no interest or motivation to acquire the skills, education, or training necessary to become LVT, RVT, or CVT, then perhaps consider a different profession. I also question a hospital that employs someone like this. Not only employs, but defends her actions, when she's clearly in the wrong. No thank you! I’m a new client at Sequoia Veterinary Hospital in San Carlos, and unfortunately, my experience so far has been very disappointing. I brought in my dog, who suffers from frequent UTIs and needed a nail trim under sedation. First, I was not provided with a cost estimate before Dr. Brown proceeded with the sedation and nail trim. I had to request the quote myself, only to learn that the procedure had already been completed. I've never seen this lack of transparency at any other vet facility. Second, there is a concerning lack of communication and lack of collaboration amongst vets who work there. My dog was prescribed a 7-day course of antibiotics “to get the treatment started” even though my dog has always received a 10-day treatment at all the other facilities she's been to, over the pa

The vets and staff are amazing here! This is the first vet I’ve actually had my dog pull me to go into their building.

These lovely folks take care of my son Samurai. My dog has been pretty low maintenance but he recently had to have teeth pulled. The staff and doctor took great care of him. They are also very honest about the costs and procedures and treatments and I don't feel like I am being robbed or tricked like other big name vet hospitals tend to do. They did a great job. Also their wait times are great and I like they are open a little bit later so I can make appts after work. Thank you Sequoia Veterinary Staff! 😘♥️🐕
