Sentara Urgent Care

What a wonderful experience! I was able to schedule an appointment online for husband and we walked right in to be seen. The MA took us right back and before he was even done with vitals, the PA came in for his procedure. We were in and out in less than 30 mins! I would highly recommend this urgent care. Thank you staff for your top notch patient care!

I went to Sentara urgent care at 6:20pm and they didn’t close until 8pm. I walked in and NO ONE was in the lobby and maybe 4 cars in the parking lot. The lady at the front desk turned me away because they were “busy all day” and stated they had “slot” times (whatever that means). I find it highly ridiculous and super rude that they turned me away when they still had over an hour and a half before they closed. I was in severe pain and they didn’t seem to care what so ever.

When/if urgent care is needed, this is the only place in Gloucester I will go. In all my experiences, the people working there are very nice. Scheduling appointments online in advance is such a great added bonus for an urgent care especially! I've had some shotty medical treatment at other places in town through the years, but Sentara Urgent Care has been rock solid every single time. I'm so glad we have them as an option!

Our local urgent care in Williamsburg was closed/not accepting appts and we needed to seek more immediate treatment vs waiting at the ER on a Sunday. Dr Chad Forrester was gentle and kind toward my 3 year old daughter who was nervous and in pain. He had a very calm demeanor and great bedside manner which truly put her at ease. He was also very patient with her and in explaining the questions I had. I would highly recommend him for care!

Made an appointment so I wouldn’t have my child miserably waiting in a waiting room just to still be sitting way beyond my appointment. No point in making an appointment smh
