Sentara CarePlex Hospital

The whole time I was there my experience was good, and the nurse's and doctors know who they are. There was only one nurse that was very upsetting to me. I've never had anyone wake you out of deep sleep driving needles in your arm. I think it was shift time, I know this particular nurse said she moved from Hospital to hospital. Like I said except that incident everyone from the cafeteria to the ladies that cleaned my room were wonderful!

If you need to go to the ER. Don’t go here. I’m posting this review from the emergency room for my infant daughter. I have rang the nurse call button multiple times and rather than getting up this nurse has been just sitting on her phone smiling the whole time.

I was on 4W floor, handled by the nurses station that handled room 409. ALL of the nurses were FANTASTIC!! If I am ever hospitalized again I want 4W around the nurses station close to room 409! They ALL were caring, compassionate and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and wanted nothing!! I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE DAY AND EVENING STAFF!!

absolutely terrible hospital, staff is unprofessional. they do not practice the red rule, they do not inform you of what medication you will be taking, just want to hand you pills and go be on their phone. this is not the first time i have had an issue, called the “patient care line” multiple times and they never do anything so its pointless to do so anymore. my advice: start taking an apple a day, these chatgpt nurses and doctors are our future lol. oh and they absolutely make sure their badges are always turned around because they know they’re not doing their job correctly so good luck actually getting a real name from the staff.

I have never seen a hospital care less about a patient that what we saw at Hampton Sentara. My 88 year old father was taken by ambulance to Hampton Care flex. He was brought out to the waiting room with us until a room was opened straight from the ambulance entrance. We watched everyone come in and go through TSA level security. The entire waiting room was emptied and filled again about three times. I asked what was going on trying to ensure my dad was still in the que to be seen. The nurse wanted to argue that there were people waiting longer. I am 100% sure that was not true, with 4 of of us all watching the same thing. Either way they could have at least checked the status they did not, I think they were to busy playing on their phone. Finally my bother got a bit heated and they looked
