Select Specialty Hospital - Dallas Downtown

My dad recently stayed here at Select Specialty Hospital here in Desoto. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the staff kept me informed with everything that was going on. Standar, Angela, and Clint were some of the best nurses with my dad. Miss Sandria and Tracy where very helpful with walking me through the recovery for my dad. I would definitely highly recommend this facility to anyone I know!!

I am so grateful for the staff here at Select Specialty Downtown Dallas-Desoto location. They were extremely informative and kind when I felt like I was asking a million questions; especially about Respiratory, Ms Sandria was very informative and sweet. My husband died here after being there for 3 months. After his death, I needed medical record. I requested the records in October 2025 and today is January 14, 2026 and I still have not received the records. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THOS PLACE.

Everyone at this hospital has been truly incredible, especially compared to the facility we came from. The kindness and compassion shown here have made such a difficult time for my family so much easier to bear. While there are many staff members I would love to acknowledge, this post is especially dedicated to Deidra Williams. Deidra is one of the sweetest and most genuine people I have ever met. She is not only a fantastic housekeeper who goes above and beyond in her work, but also a caring and uplifting presence. She takes the time to talk with me as she works, and today she even sang a song to my father, who is in a coma—without knowing that it was the same song my grandmother, his mother, used to sing to us as children. The staff at this facility has been great. They are compassionate and caring people. The rooms or suites as they are called are some of the nicest I have seen. I wish I could remember all the nurses names so I could thank them all
