Sea Island Pediatrics

Ive used this doctors office for three children. My daughter sat in this doctor's office three weeks before a pulmonary embolism collapsed her lung, and they told me "its not strep throat" and sent us on our way that day. She's dead now. It was cancer. I took my son here for a lump in his lower abdomen, accompanied by a fever and vomiting. Over two visits we may have talked to a doctor for 6 minutes total? But dont worry, its not strep throat. This is the same office I brought my son maybe two years ago and their doctor didnt know what a foreskin is. My son is still throwing up with a pretty high fever. Thanks for the check up in a month for the lump in his abdomen. Sounds like you guys are real concerned about the swollen lymph nodes and their cause.

This experience was Horrible! I put in a shot record for school on 8/11 in office and was told it would be ready the next day so that it would not be any delays with my daughter starting school. Once her dad got there he was told that; the request was never put in and the lady that was supposed to complete the shot records would not be back in until the next day. I then called back to speak to the office manager that was rude, and told me that my child was not a priority and that there was not any documentations that anyone even requested the records the previous day! This office showed no concern for my daughter no matter how big or small the issue was; this office does not document proper patient communication between staff and that is very important, because you never know when you have

Called to see if they offered a vaccination ingredients list and was told they don't offer those, which is weird considering they're a requirement. Was also told they don't follow the CDC's extended vaccination guide, which is odd, considering the CDC has it for a reason and it's not the doctors call. It's the parents. Will not be bringing my little one here, which is disappointing. I was told they respect the parents wishes at this place.

We've lived many places and seen several pediatric groups in those years, but never have I felt doctors cared about my children like with Sea Island Pediatrics. We were always more than just a chart, and I really felt like these doctors knew my kids and were always able to see us promptly whenever we needed. I would recommend Dr. Tim and Dr. Karen to absolutely anyone, and I'll forever miss having them as the pediatricians for my children now that we no longer live in the area. They became like family.

The office used to be a great facility years ago... The care and staff is not the best anymore. Would NOT recommend. It's worth the drive just to go somewhere else trust me
