Referred in for inflamed eyelid issue after oral steroids didn’t help. Appointment & staff were generally professional. Eye test results/pictures taken were not shared with me. I asked for blood work to be done to try to determine the underlying issue and OD refused to sign off on a blood work order. My referring doctor immediately signed off on bloodwork instead. Unnecessary steps and stress to get simple information. Do no harm is principal number one. Signing off on bloodwork for an undetermined immune issue would have done no harm and yet he refused based on what seems like purely his male/doctor/ego opinion. Blood provides invaluable information and is a bizarre thing to refuse in almost any situation, particularly this one.

This is the man to see (no pun intended) if you are having any eye issues. He is very thorough, friendly and professional. He has no problem spending his time with you and answering any questions. He also offers an excellent optical department in the same office. I highly recommend his services!

I highly recommend Dr. Rutkoski. He is personable, professional, caring, knowledgeable, and very thorough. He takes his time with each of his patients making sure their needs are met & to answer any questions they may have. I never feel rushed leaving there. 5/5😊

Dr Rutkowski was amazing. My appointment was made bc of concerns I have stemming from an old eye injury. He answered all my questions and reassured me what another Dr could not. He even gave my eye script so I could get new glasses since I had broke mine. That was great considering my insurance was only medical not for optical. Thank you!

Dr. Rutkoski is absolutely wonderful. I feel extemely blessed he takes care of my vision needs and trust him completely. His staff are professional, friendly and skilled. Very good experience. Excellent care.
