Saugerties Wellness Center

I have been seeing Dr. Samedova for several years now, since I moved to the Saugerties area from NYC. I have been totally pleased with the care provided Dr. Samedova and her staff, including excellent nurses and a knowledgeable N.P. Dr. Samedova listens carefully and gives thoughtful, considered answers to my questions. Office staff are responsive and welcoming. Dr. Samedova problem-solves in ways that I had not experienced when seeing NYC-based docs affiliated with prestigious hospitals. She also acknowledges when she DOESN'T have the solution to a medical conundrum. She is uniformly warm and caring. How rare is that? I have recommended her highly to family and friends. Got new insurance and had to switch GPs. Went in for an annual check-up/to establish care with this office. I had no physical issues. At end of appointment I was asked if i wanted blood work, I responded "will it cost me anything?" Marcello responded "No" so I went to Lab Corp and got the blood work assuming it was part of my routine check-up. Now LabCorp is saying I owe them. Reached out to the Saugerties Wellness office four times before someone contacted me back. They said "Well, the doctor wouldn't know your insurance" I said "Well then he should say that. He shouldn't have said it wouldn't cost anything. this impacts my trust in my provider" the nurse said "Insurance changes everyday and we can't do anything about that" to which i again said "well then the doctor should've said 'i don

I really like Saugerties Wellness Center. I see Dr Sandova And I always leave there feeling like she gave me a thorough appointment. She has a lot of questions and she's willing to go extra steps and making sure we check out any possibilities. This is probably the first place where I have felt like I could honestly recommend to friends.

Marcello Barbaria is always extremely professional and gets what I need done. I don't find myself waiting very long only happened one time in the waiting room and I brought it to the staffs attention and they apologized. They are very good at communicating you bring it to their attention. Idk if there are new staff and drs from a couple years ago but I know from my experience quick, fast, same day appointments are convenient and not alot of places do that. Everyone is always nice & seem happy .

Execllent health care. Everyone here is always kind and professional and I have always received prompt and excellent service from the receptionists, nurses, and doctors. Highly recommend.
